The 1,400 ft. Wall of History engraved with Historic events that have occured
over the past 200 years. A Granite pylon marks each 10 year period along the wall. The wall "breaks" at the time of the Civil
War to represent the devisive nature of the War had on the State.
The 95 bell Carillons represents the 95 Counties of Tennessee. They are the
largest Carillons in the World. There is a 96th Carillon on the grounds of the State Capitol.
It is called the answer bell, and it rings in answer to the 95 Carillons in the Mall.
It represents the Government answering to the People of Tennessee.
The World War II Memorial, dedicated on November 11, 1997. Features an 18,000
lb. Granite globe. There are Granite markers that give a brief description of Historic events that occured during
the War.
