Often referred to as the "Niagra of the South", the Cumberland Falls
are located in the Daniel Boone National Forest. The Falls are 125 ft.
wide and plunge 68 ft. into the Cumberland River. Here is the only
place in the Western Hemisphere (and one of only 2 places in the
World) where you will see a MoonBow (a nighttime Rainbow). The
Falls opened to the public in 1930. The Cumberland Falls are 10 miles
S.W. of Corbin, Ky.
