Curwood Castle was built in 1922 and was the
writing studio of author James Oliver Curwood. Mr. Curwood wrote mainly adventure novels set in the Canadian
North, and many of his novels were made into movies.
Inside the Castle are historical documents, and artifacts representing Mr. Curwood's writing, film, and conservation pursuits on display.
