By the 1960's the Bowen House was gradually falling apart.
In 1975 The
Goodlettsville American Revolution Bi Centennial Comission started a complete restoration. By 1980 the house was opened for
tours, and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Bowen House is part of The Mansker's Station tour.
