This is my favorite Cider Mill. Officially known as Tom Walker's
Grist Mill, most people just call it The Parshallville Mill. Parshallville
is in Livingston County and is a half hour South of Flint. The Mill was
built in 1869. Tom Walker and a partner bought the Mill in 1878 for
$10,000. The Mill stayed in the Walker Family until 1969. It is one of the last water
powered grist mills in Michigan, and is a Michigan Historic Site. Mark Farner of Grand Funk fame once lived near by.
