Rosemont was built between 1836 - 1842 by Joseph Conn Guild. Considered one of Sumner County's grand old houses, and the finest example of Greek Revival Architecture. Originally a 500 acre Plantation, Thoroughbred Horses were raised here.

Listed on the Register of Historic Places.

The City of Gallatin bought Rosemont in 1993.
