  built in 1890 president and mrs. harding lived in
the home for 30 years until his election in 1920. the
queen anne styled house was restored in 1965. the
harding memorial association donated the house to the state of ohio in 1978, and is now managed by the ohio historical society. 95% of the furnishings in the house were belonged to the hardings. Harding ran a "front porch campaign", and delivered several speeches from the front porch.

in October of 1966.
named a national historic landmark in June of 1965.
 
   the harding museum is a sears kit house that was
constructed in 1920 at a cost of $1,000. it was used
as a press house and campaign headquarters.
 
 
  warren g. harding was the 29th president and his
term in office was from 1921 to 1923. president harding died while in office.
