Built in 1929 by stove builders, the Allen Manufcturing Co.
The Company went into receivership after the Great Depression.
The Dortch Stove Company occupied the site from 1932 until 1955.
Magic Chef occupied the site from 1955 until 1959.
Jamison Bedding Company occupied the site from 1962 until 1991.
There are 11 buildings that cover 250,000 sq. ft.
The Factory is on the National Register of Historic Places.
It is now, "43 Shops, Restaurants, and Learning Centers"
