  Brothers Abner, John, Warren, and William Doble formed Doble Steam Motors Corp.  The first protoype was made around 1909. About 36 Dobles were made. The last Doble was made in 1936.
 The Doble was considered to be the best Steam powered Auto ever produced. The Doble pictured here has a 318 C.I. engine, producing 125 H.P. It weighed 4,100 lbs, cost around $9,000, and was capable of doing 100 M.P.H.
