McDonald's # 1 Store Museum is a recreation of the 1st
McDonald's Restaurant that was opened by McDonald's
Corp. founder Ray Kroc. The original Restaurant that
opened in Des Plaines stood on this site, and was razed
in 1984.
This replica McDonald's was built according to the original
blueprints. The "Over 1 Million Sold" sign (featuring Speedee)
is original, as is the equipment in the food prep area.
