Flint, Mich

Flint was established as a trading outpost in 1819, and incorporated as a City in 1855. Flint is known as the Birthplace of General Motors, and as a result of a sit-down strike in 1937 (at a Fisher Body Plant) the legitization of the United Auto Workers Union.

Flint is the Seat of Genesse County.
