the museum opened in 1992, and was renovated
in 2006.

size statue of elvis at
the age of 13, his age when the presley family moved
to memphis. the statue weighs 350 lbs. and cost
$50,000. the statue was unveiled on what would
have been elvis' 67 birthday.
assembly of god church. elvis attended
this church
as a young boy. it is here that elvis learned to
appreciate gospel music. Elvis received three grammy
awards, all three were for gospel recordings.
The church is not on it's original site, but has been restored to it's original
condition.
